Xensoaga I has several places that are incorperated in the story. The following is a short overview of each place in my own words. NOTE: There are very slight spoilers included.
Woglinde: A federation ship manufactured by Vector used to recover the Zohar emulator. KOS-MOS was manufactured here by Vector 1st R&D Division, but the ship was destroyed by the Gnosis on the return trip.
Astroid Pleroma: Originally thought to be deserted, but became the headquarters of the U-tic Organization. MOMO was imprisoned here for a time by the U-tic in efforts to retrieve the Y-data.
Elsa: A cargo ship registered under the Kukai Foundation and possibly salvaged through blackmarket parts. Captain Matthews, Navigator Hammer, Pilot Tony, and chaos retrieved Shion, KOS-MOS, and Allen and later Ziggy and MOMO as well. This ship did most of the transportation to new places.
Cathedral Ship: The largest Gnosis to date recorded. The party and crew of the Elsa found themselves inside this giant Gnosis where the Commander's secret was revealed.
U-tic Battleship: A ship that attacked the Durandel when it was investigating the disappearence of the Woglinde. Jr. and others from the Kukai Foundation came aboard this ship to retrieve information.
Encephalon: A universe created by the dreaming KOS-MOS. There everyone was forced to face their pasts and accept what had happened. Nephillim provided more information about why she spoke with Shion so much in this area.
Kukai Foundation: One of the Top 10 Fastest Growing Organizations. Jr., the Elsa crew, and the Durandel crew, are all part of this foundation. Being a neutral organization of 2nd Militia, possession of the Zohar Emulators were given to them.
Song of Nephillim: Mysterous structure made by Joachim Mizrahi. Plays a strange song that is said to drive everything into chaos.
Proto-Merkabah: A manufacturing facility made by Joachim Mizrahi. It was said to have been thrown into a black hole, but apparently there was a difference between historical fact and what had actually happened. MOMO was born in this facility.
